Unless you have a credit facility with us the most convenient method of payment is by credit or debit card. Alternatively, we will accept payment by cash on or before delivery.

In normal ambient temperatures, you will normally only have between 1 and 2 hours to place, level and compact the concrete and to finish the surface.

During the summer the setting time will be shorter at higher temperatures and you will need to ensure that enough manpower is available to place, compact and finish the concrete within about 40 minutes of the commencement of placing the concrete.

Concrete is a building material that simulates the properties of rock. In its simplest form, it is a mix of ingredients, including Portland cement, coarse aggregates, fine aggregates and water. Concrete may also contain a range of admixtures, blended cements, fibres and more to help achieve different characteristics in concrete mix designs.

Here is a list of the most common concrete applications and the advised designated concrete mix designs:

Blinding and mass fill concrete:
GEN1 or TOPFLOW self compacting concrete

Fully buried reinforced foundations:
RC25/30 or TOPFLOW self compacting concrete

Reinforced foundations with a DC class specified by an engineer:
DC-2 FND 2 or TOPFLOW self compacting concrete
DC-3 FND 3 or TOPFLOW self compacting concrete
DC-4 FND 4 or TOPFLOW self compacting concrete

House or garage floors, fully or nominally reinforced:
RC25/30 + Fibres or TOPFLOW self compacting concrete

Wearing surface (Slab) Light foot & trolley traffic:
RC25/30 or TOPFORCE fibre reinforced concrete

Wearing surface (Slab) General industrial:
RC32/40 or TOPFORCE fibre reinforced concrete

Wearing surface (Slab) Heavy Industrial:
RC40/50 or TOPFORCE fibre reinforced concrete

House & domestic drives, external parking:
RC40/50XF or TOPROC high strength concrete

Heavy duty external paving:
RC40/50XF or TOPROC high strength concrete
